These are some photos from from my Miami trip Dec 1st for Art Basel 2011. This post is dedicated to my friend and favorite artist Flip Skip.
THE SHOWS & THEMES I LOVED
JILL STUART
-girly, sweet, sixties vibes, soft pastel color palette.
JASON WU
- black tie glamor, ultra-lightweight fabrics with captivating movement.
RAG AND BONE
-surfers, glastonbury music festival, and nineties raves elements with street style edge.
ALTUZARRA
-an evolution from last season’s utility chic to an outdoor sexy Hawaiian edge with form fitting dress and floral fabric panels.
-waiting for high-res images from Alexander Wang, Thakoon, Victoria Beckham that i also thought were great.

AFTERWARDS AT KENMARE
Wow. Last night was eventful from 7pm to 4am. I started out in my neighborhood on Bowery and popped into Rogan and Patricia Field. Rogan was a fun party with many people shopping and browsing the store, Pat Field (as expected) was outfits galore… oh and did I mention the impromptu vogue-off on bowery?? CHECK THE VIDEO.
We popped into KX1 had a cocktail and browsed the latest street and skate items then over to Bond street where OAK had a phenomenal event, complete with a money wall of $1 bills for the taking! The vibe was calmer at In God We Trust, an intimate group chatting about fashion week and fall’s must-have- messenger satchel.
Met friends for dinner at Kenmare then headed downstairs for a phenomenal performance by violinist Caitlin Moe accompanied by a dj set. WATCH THAT VIDEO TOO.
another fab #FNO to say the least.

THE SCENE
Photoshoot with Katie at Napeague Bay in the Hamptons where kite surfers chill.
Last Thursday night I attended the Patek Philippe’s FW11/12 preview party with my co-workers Andrea and Kristin. The event took place on a beautiful rooftop garden over looking St.Patrick’s Cathedral and the catering was bite sized heaven.
Patek displayed their latest collection in green hedges- both his/her watches. The designs were modern with nods to classical design that make Patek Philippe watches forever timeless and elegant. We only wish there were goody bags!!!

Last night I was at a party in Brooklyn and I saw the Supermoon driving across the bridge in it’s early stages. A“supermoon” is when a full moon is closest to earth, this has not happened for 18 years.
Oh, you’ll also have to fly to London if you don’t already live there.
